How do you take one of the most innovative drinking water technologies the world has seen, and successfully land it within the U.S. market?

The Problem

SOURCE had the Hydropanel technology in hand, but no established market. Add in some big transitions happening within their team, revenue channels, and product line, and the need became clear for agency support to dream up and fully execute a new approach for their brand/product positioning, customer journey, content marketing, and sales funnel strategy.

The agency would need to work with the agility and sensitivity of an in-house marketing department to seamlessly integrate the brand’s global legacy within a new trajectory targeting a U.S. audience.

The Process

Majic Branding stepped in to renew SOURCE’s prominence as the best solar-powered water capture technology on the market and scale growth for the company. First, we created a comprehensive strategy roadmap to reimagine stakeholder relationships to Hydropanel, lasering in on the most urgent and relevant pain points the brand was experiencing. Focusing on the key demographics and psychographics of target audiences, we built and implemented a plan to bring in more residential sales and increase brand awareness. During this phase, we relaunched content channels, restarted digital advertising (in partnership with their performance marketing agency, Force of Nature), and revamped critical areas of the SOURCE website.

Our tactics closely aligned our marketing initiatives with an improved sales process, creating lucrative opportunities for nurturing leads and reengaging people already in the pipeline (followers on social, subscribers on the email list, etc.) Given the timeliness of Hydropanel’s solution for consumers, our strategy, design, and marketing assets inserted Hydropanel into ongoing discussions regarding current natural disasters, resource scarcity, household resilience, and personal wellness.

The Outcome

With Majic at the helm of the brand’s strategic trajectory and online presence, SOURCE saw significant growth in sales, social media engagement, and email open-rates, among other metrics of success. SOURCE HOME’s monthly revenue increased 600% by the end of 2024, after kicking off with Majic Branding in May of that year. The new email marketing program–with a redesigned welcome flow–aided in growing their email list and generating more clicks and sales per email than ever before. 

Published blogs, reports, and social media content have reinforced SOURCE’s existing SEO foundation, and new rankings on search engines situate the brand as a trusted voice in drinking water issues, solar power, and disaster-resilient technology. With these victories under the company’s belt, SOURCE Global is better positioned to scale its operations and advance its life-changing mission to change the state of water for every person, in every place.
