Nova Chief of Staff
Nova is a first-of-its-kind startup focusing on all things Chief of Staff (CoS). Launched initially in 2023 with an online CoS Certification program, Nova has since broadened its horizons as an education/workforce development platform that builds awareness and community around the industry-changing opportunities that come with the in-demand role of Chief of Staff.
The Problem
Maggie Olson, acclaimed Chief of Staff and newfound entrepreneur, had in her hands a great product, but no market for it. After spending over a year building a meticulously thought out, never-before-seen online Certification course for current or aspiring Chiefs of Staff, she struggled to generate sales or get the word out to the right people.
Maggie needed more brand power behind her so she could tap into the small–but vibrant–community of people in the CoS niche: industry professionals hungry for exactly what the Certification course had to offer.

The Process
Maggie first contacted Kaitlyn Fitzgerald, CEO of Majic Branding, seeking help with her paid ads program. The platforms were confusing and conversions were lower than expected. Kaitlyn’s feedback? “You need a brand and an effective customer journey.”
Over three months, Majic worked with Maggie to build Nova Chief of Staff from the ground up. This full-service project included a brand naming exercise, designing a full suite of brand assets (icons, colors, etc.), drafting core messaging (mission, vision, taglines, etc.), crafting email welcome flows, and developing a polished website. With an engaging customer journey in motion, Nova officially came to life.
But the collaboration didn’t stop at the brand build. Nova also partnered with Majic for a brand launch, aiming to land the CoS Certification course in its target niche. Our team helped create social profiles, position brand collateral, and implement a powerful market strategy to get this extraordinary business off the ground–so current/prospective Chiefs of Staff everywhere could find the course they’ve been dreaming of.

The Outcome
Just eighteen months after launch, Nova has eclipsed 1,000 certification enrollments in its state-of-the-art CoS course! What began as a startup’s online education tool is now officially a C-Suite cultural phenomenon. In the post-launch phase, Majic continues to collaborate with Nova to establish and implement growth strategies for navigating negotiations, landing partnerships, and finding room for further growth.
